Prarthana Kumar joined SOL International Ltd in July 2026 and is currently a Trainee. She has gained experience across court litigation, international arbitration, employment and commercial law. Prarthana holds an LL.B. (Hons) from Middlesex University and is currently pursuing her Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQE).

Prarthana has been involved in litigation matters before the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) Courts and has assisted in a hospitality sector trial before the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts, as well as a maritime arbitration seated in Hong Kong under the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) Rules. Her responsibilities include legal research,  case analysis, drafting and reviewing legal documents, preparing hearing materials, liaising with courts and institutions and attending client conferences.

In addition to contentious work, Prarthana is gaining experience in employment and commercial matters, including drafting and reviewing employment agreements and commercial contracts.

Prior to joining SOL, she gained experience in banking and finance, as well as wills and estates, providing her with a broad foundation across a range of legal disciplines.

She has also co-authored “A Digital Milestone: Understanding the UAE’s New Social Media Ban for Minors Under 15”, exploring recent developments in UAE legislation concerning social media access and the protection of minors.
